retailer to open 59th store in June
SCOTTSDALE, ARIZONA (April 23, 2012) – National pet supply
retailer Petsense recently completed construction on a new location at 110
Shallotte Crossing Parkway in Shallotte, North Carolina. This new retail store will be the 59th
location for the rapidly growing company, and the ninth in North Carolina. President and C.E.O. Bob Angstead explained
that “North Carolina has been a great area for growth for Petsense. As more and
more pet lovers look for the best products and services for their pets, they
have made Petsense their store of choice. We couldn’t be happier to expand our
North Carolina operations into Shallotte.”
PetSense will offer Shallotte, and the surrounding
communities premium pet supplies and services that are unavailable in mass
market and discount retailers, said Vice President of Store Operations, Mary
Wentland. She added, “While we feel that we have the best pet product selection
of any retailer around, what really sets Petsense apart is the outstanding
level of service that our associates provide our customers in all of the
fantastic communities where we are located.
Our mission is to make the pet lover’s shopping a world class
experience, and we are excited to bring that experience to Shallotte.”
Pet-lovers interested in working at PetSense should apply at
the store during the week of April 30th – June 4th, from
9AM until 4PM. Applicants not available

The store is tentatively scheduled to open for business on
May 23rd with a Grand Opening Celebration on Saturday, May 26th. Pet lovers interested in receiving
